Once upon a time I actually took sleep for granted. I can't believe that I used to stay up till one or two a.m. and then get up at six a.m. for classes. How did I ever survive on that? Having twins is really an adventure. I sometimes see every hour of the night or I could get four hours straight. My body feels in limbo. Add two more kiddos into the mix during the day and the big kid, aka hubby, I am worn out. I do believe the issue right now is teething. If you have never encountered two babies teething at the same time then you having lived. Each child is different, Baby girl is more laid back about it. She just tries to put everything in her mouth. Shoes laces, doll babies, her brothers toes, whatever is convenient. Baby boy tends to take the cry it out because it hurts approach. Don't put him down unless the world is ending! (Make sure you never pick up his sister in front of him and not pick him up as well. That is cause for war in his eyes.)
I have tried teething liquid and cold toys. If I could find their little big brothers teething necklace in the clutter I call home it would be wonderful. Maybe, just maybe if I can get them to sleep at the same time I can accomplish that feat!
