meal plan week two (still needs updating)

Yes meal planning is back on! I found a great app called Big Oven. It has been easier to use than interest pinning.
Monday (sept. 2nd)
BBQ bundles- My boys and hubby preferred the mustard based sauce over the ketchup but hubby says the ketchup tastes better as leftovers.

Quinoa bean salad- I didn't put in the chick peas. I enjoyed this side dish. Hubby and the older boys not too much. They aren't that big on healthy bean/pea based food. No issues from the three younger eaters though;)

Tuesday (sept. 3rd)
Bean and cheese enchiladas- I added beef to this recipe because I have a hubby who believes in meat. Everyone liked this meal.

Wednesday (sept. 4th)
We had left over day. I usually make recipes serve eight people since there are indeed eight of us but with the little kids and baby we always have left overs:)

Thursday (Sept. 5th)
3 Envelope roast. This was a very tender roast. I never thought to put ranch, italian and brown gravy packets into a pot roast... But surprisingly it tastes really good
Rolls (cheated here and did pillsbury)
Amish bean salad chilled

Friday (Sept 6th)

Saturday (Sept 7th)

Introducing new baby

Savannah Ryla

Born June 22. 6 lbs 9 ounces 20 3/4 inches long
She spent her first few days in the NICU because she was "juicy" at birth. You could hear her juiciness at birth. I meant to ask the doc if she was in a lot of fluid but never did.
She is doing perfectly fine now and we are loving every minute with her!

Total slacker

Yes, I know I am one. We moved recently and I just have not put any of the meal planning up here. I have at least two weeks to write up now. So ASAP I will get those up and going. Everything I make is still on my pinterest page under food. I have started labeling it by days. If it is missing then it means it was horrible:).

Meal planning Week One

Because I can be a total slacker when it comes to this I decided to share it on my blog. All recipes can be found under my pinterest account in Food! unless other wise noted:)

I will also try to update what was no worth making. This is all pretty much new recipes to the family.

Night one:
Beef Rigatoni I made it without the mushrooms and tomatoes. It lacked something. I don't know if it is because I left that out or what. It made a ton of food though. We ate off of it then next night (I had a nasty stomach bug) and again for lunch.
Fluffy dinner rolls These are a keeper. Loved them and easy to make. But I need a counter blender because my hand one got bogged down.
Green beans (not on pinterest)
Honey Buttered carrots (not on pinterest)

Night two:
Beef stuffed crescents These had too much cream cheese in them but all in all pretty good.
Chips and salsa

Night three:
Chicken fingers
Confetti mac n cheese

Night four:
No peek beef tips
Best broccoli of you life
Sauteed corn and scallions

Night five:
Spinach lasagna rolls
Parm seasoned fries

Night six:
Spaghetti (not on pinterest)
A+ home olive garden rolls

Night seven:
Crock pot chicken n gravy
